Sanu in SL: Cutie Peas and Acorn Monocles.

So the Magic of Oz sim is celebrating its second anniversary, and I’ve made a gift for you to celebrate too! It includes a huggable ‘Give Peas a Chance’ peapod and a cutie-peas peapod for your mouth. What can I say… I love peas.

You can find full details about the Over the Rainbow hunt, along with several other events being presented for the celebrations here at Ozimals.

There’s heaps of great vendors participating, so be sure to collect all the prizes!

Annnnnd this is the second release for today! A super-cute set of gatcha acorn monocles. You can get these at my main-store, but they’re also available at the Albero Gatcha Festival, along with a few of the classics that I think would go well with them.

And in case you missed this other release… which I didn’t post about on the website… here’s the interactive candy-corn, now available at my main-store location. Each piece of candy-corn comes with an awesome set of twelve emotes which can be activated with a click. Here’s a little warning first though: the jokes are a little corny!

Announcement: Oh. My. God. My Zombie Jeebus is a tattoo. A real one!

I was contacted just a few days back with a request:

“Kat – would you be OK with me getting a tattoo of your Zombie Jeebus. I know it is unlikely you would ever find out but I would feel shitty if I got it done without at least asking permission from the artist!”

My response was an instant ‘Hell Yeah!’ quickly followed by a ‘But please send me a picture so I can put it up on the site, ok? I wanna see it!’

Talk about being stoked – I love my Zombie Jeebus, and the fact that someone would want him on them for life is just awesome to me.

Well, a few days have passed, and David (hope you don’t mind that I’ve used your first name here) has gotten tattooed – apparently this was the quickest he’s ever gone between seeing something, immediately knowing he wanted it as a tattoo, and getting it done. I’m really flattered.

Just in case you’ve come in late and want to see the originals, Zombie Jeebus was first found in the post ‘Zombie Jeebus wants You!‘ then quickly followed up with a touch of colour in “What to do if faced with a Zombie Jeebus‘. The tattooist did a great job of converting it to ink on flesh, don’t you think?

Thanks for asking to get Zombie Jeebus as a tattoo, David. Your email with the photo of the finished tattoo today just made my day.

Sketch: Just a quick sketch for today… I’m working on something cute.

I’ve been working on something incredibly cute for the past day, so I’m going to put up this for now, and save the extra cuteness for later!

Here… let me give you a hint. It involves a legendary mythical creature, cuteness, scissors and something I’ve already shown at least once on the site.

Buuuut for today… just a little red scribble-portrait. As I’ve mentioned before, I enjoy playing with different pens and things – a scribble portrait in a traditional ball-point pen is always going to have a different feel from something done in a bright red ink pen. I find it incredible just how much the medium can affect the outcome.

That’s all for today – there’s cute stuff on the horizon!

Sketch: It’s an Alpaca!

Urgh! I’ve been trying to upload this picture for over a week, but my uploader was not working properly. Luckily, I’ve gotten it to work right again!

My in-laws have alpacas. They’re sweet, they’re adorable, and they look so cute covered in fluffy fluffy wool. I’m even getting some of the fleece from the recent shearing to try my hand at felt-making. Won’t that be fun?

I think alpacas are an under-appreciated animal, all in all. Ok, so it might just look like a small llama, but doesn’t that make it even more cute? After all, a toy dachshund is even cuter than a regular dachshund, a miniature pony has a greater ‘awww!’ value than a draft-horse, and for some reason, restaurants certainly have a way of making us pay greater amounts for tinier, over-presented servings of the same food.

Of all the camelids, I like the alpaca best.
