You know, it might be cool here in Australia right now, but I would still eat one of these in a heartbeat.
Melon popsicles were one of the things that I loved when I visited Japan. There was a little package of them that came with six melon pops – three green and three pink, with the flavours of honeydew and watermelon. They had little chocolate chips as ‘seeds’, dusted over the melon slice; dark chocolate chips for the watermelon, and white for the honeydew.
They are one of the first treats that I bought while I was over there, so they kinda hold a special little place in my heart. As a result, I just had to make my own little take on melon popsicles in Second Life!
Teleport to Sanu to pick up a melon popsicle today!
She’s a little further along, but she’s not quite finished yet. I intend to do a bit of painting tomorrow – today I was busy on other things.
And for my Second Life friends – I’ve released a little something for the 4th of July! Ok, so I might be Australian, but who am I to ignore all of my American customers? I can’t do that. Besides, any excuse for a tasty digital treat is quite alright with me.
I’ve done something special with this one too. This special holiday popsicle comes in both regular and petite sizes, to satisfy my customers of every size!
Teleport to Sanu to to grab yours for just 1l. It’s in the blue and red gift box by the giant bunnies. Happy 4th of July, everybody!
It totally slipped my mind to announce the pretzel sticks here on my blog… so first things first:
I’m going to Japan in just a couple of weeks, and one of the things that I’m going to be looking forward to is pocky – a type of dipped pretzel/biscuit stick that comes in a multitude of fun flavours. Did you know that you can even get special flavoured pocky depending on what region of Japan you are in? For example, in Nagano there is grape pocky, and in Hokkaido you can get yubari melon flavour. You can read more about them on Wiki.
And now for my latest release: lipsticks!
These lovely lippies hang on a cute little string around your neck… and the even better thing is that anyone who clicks it will get a wonderful little kiss on the cheek. Cute, huh?
Annnnnd I couldn’t just stop at one set of shades…
So I made two sets. One for the vivid shades, and another for the classics. What can I say? I love these lipsticks so much I needed to do a huuuuuge range of colours to do them justice!
You can get your own Sanu lippie necklace today – teleport to the mainstore now.
It is no secret that I love creating virtual food in Second Life. There’s just something about recreating something that is already perfect, in a way that makes them even more mouth-wateringly delicious.
I am so insanely happy with these macaroons that you would hardly believe it. Looking at them seriously makes me want to go out and find some in real life right this second, because they just look so damn tasty!
There are twelve macaroons to collect, each one with a classic flavour and three options for the filling… everyone loves variety, right? Well, you get the choice of chocolate ganache, raspberry jam and the ever-classic cream!
Teleport to Sanu today to grab a macaroon… or twelve. Don’t forget, they’re transferable too – so they’re perfect for sharing with friends!
This post is a little bit late – I did release these two days ago! Buuuut I was having a few computer issues, so I didn’t get to it as quickly as I could have.
My latest item in SL: mochi!
Ok, for anyone who hasn’t tasted mochi… you’re missing out. Mochi is a delicious little sweet snack-food, straight from Japan. It is a ‘glutinous rice ball’, which may sound a little weird to begin with, but it’s actually incredibly tasty. The texture is dense, with a similar chewiness to marshmallows. My favourite flavour is taro, I think – but I love a lot of the flavours available… there’s even ones stuffed with red bean paste!
So yes, I had to make mochi for SL – and you can pick them up today! They’re stuffed into a random vendor, so collect all eight!
You can get the mochi here, at my new store location.
