    Kat Johnston. Don't you just wish you could do this to a room? So much fun!

    Tara gave me the word ‘clean’… here is my response. Its not a mess. Its art. Or is it? Well, I guess that is up for interpretation! *laughs* Let me just say that if I did this one in my studio, I think I’d get rather a rap on the knuckles for it… but wouldn’t it be nice? Just to be able to go completely nuts once in a while and toss paint around wherever you wish? Ahhh, thus are the limitations of renting…

    So I’m going to leave open this idea of people leaving requests alongside comments… I’ve even created a new little page outlining this oh-so-difficult process. So come on, give me a word, or a set of words… a passage from a book, a quote, a link to a photo or a cartoon… anything. I’ll throw together a picture in response, and put it up for your viewing pleasure, along with whatever other piece of sketching goodness I do throughout the day in another post. Any comments, leave a request along with it… and perhaps I’ll do it! Isn’t the internet great?

  • Bot-time!

    Kat Johnston - I wish I had a robot to do the dishes for me. Don't you?

    Another quick sketch today, in response to a request from a friend to draw a ‘bot’. I know she meant something else, but this is what she’s getting!

    Now… lets try something new… If someone opens up this post and let me know what they would like me to draw tomorrow as a comment, I will do a sketch based on that word or suggestion for tomorrow’s post. If I get more than one reply, I will either pick one, draw several, or mash them all together to create one big fun drawing from the lot of them based on the suggestions left for me.

    Go on… give it a go… you know that you want to see what I can come up with!

    Sorry for the theme changing and all… things will be sorted in that regard soon enough.

  • Wild Panther Girl.

    This is a picture drawn on request of a friend of mine, who asked me to draw what I thought of when I think of her. There are many things, naturally… but this was the first to come to mind, I guess. Not drawn with a particular structure in mind, just started with the feather, and moved on from there, letting the picture grow organically. So, Kyro, this picture is for you. Hopefully you like it!

  • An Iron Rose.

    Ok, so another friend of mine has been on my back for weeks about creating for him a purple rose. Here is the result. Its still just a pencil sketch at this point, but I will rework and refine it further when I have a little more time to turn it into something just perfect for him… I hope. Yay for coloured pencils and a black pen on paper! If the reworked and refined version works out well, I will probably throw that up at a later point. Ok, that’s all for now!

  • Dragonling Dreaming.

    A friend of mine decided that she wanted a picture drawn for her… a picture of what I thought she would be dreaming of as she laid down to a nap. I think, perhaps, that she may have been dreaming of other things. However if it were I laying down for that nap, I have a feeling that this delicate lady would have been first and foremost in my mind.

    Its a long walk home after a good night out and an even harder one when you are doing it by your lonesome… but why let that get you down when you have on a lovely frock, it is a moonlit path you walk down and there is naught but a chill evening breeze to disturb your thoughts? Not the greatest sketch in the world… but I like it none-the-less.
