  • Sanu in SL: Pretzel Sticks and Fun Lipsticks!

It totally slipped my mind to announce the pretzel sticks here on my blog… so first things first:

Sanu in SL: Pretzel sticks are tasty as! You can't just stop at one.
Sanu in SL: Pretzel sticks are tasty as! You can’t just stop at one.

I’m going to Japan in just a couple of weeks, and one of the things that I’m going to be looking forward to is pocky – a type of dipped pretzel/biscuit stick that comes in a multitude of fun flavours. Did you know that you can even get special flavoured pocky depending on what region of Japan you are in? For example, in Nagano there is grape pocky, and in Hokkaido you can get yubari melon flavour. You can read more about them on Wiki.

And now for my latest release: lipsticks!

Sanu in SL: Lipstick you can carry anywhere... and that delivers a delicious kiss on a click!

These lovely lippies hang on a cute little string around your neck… and the even better thing is that anyone who clicks it will get a wonderful little kiss on the cheek. Cute, huh?

Annnnnd I couldn’t just stop at one set of shades…

Sanu in SL: For the more conservative, these are the classic lipstick shades, rather than the fancy party colours!

So I made two sets. One for the vivid shades, and another for the classics. What can I say? I love these lipsticks so much I needed to do a huuuuuge range of colours to do them justice!

You can get your own Sanu lippie necklace today – teleport to the mainstore now.

  • Sanu in SL: Macaroons that melt in your mouth.

Sanu in SL: Macaroons are sooo pretty to look at, and they sure are tasty too. My mouth is watering just looking at them!

It is no secret that I love creating virtual food in Second Life. There’s just something about recreating something that is already perfect, in a way that makes them even more mouth-wateringly delicious.

I am so insanely happy with these macaroons that you would hardly believe it. Looking at them seriously makes me want to go out and find some in real life right this second, because they just look so damn tasty!

There are twelve macaroons to collect, each one with a classic flavour and three options for the filling… everyone loves variety, right? Well, you get the choice of chocolate ganache, raspberry jam and the ever-classic cream!

Teleport to Sanu today to grab a macaroon… or twelve. Don’t forget, they’re transferable too – so they’re perfect for sharing with friends!

  • Sanu in SL: Feeling sickly, but there’s an up-side!

Sanu in SL: I'm feeling sick, but luckily there is an up-side... you get a free skin!

I hate being sick. There’s just something about sniffling away with a throb in your head and a churning in your gut that says, ‘Oh God, please let this be over soon.’

That’s not all, either. I have to be the worst sick person to be around, if I’m at home. Oh, I’ll act all strong and tough it out if I’m at work or something similar, but get me home again and I turn into a pouty little so-and-so who wants chicken broth, snuggles and a huge side-order of pampering. Aloe-vera tissues for me please, and go heavy on the sympathy… especially if you happen to be the one who gave me the flu in the first place.

There is, however, a bit of an up-side to all of this. You see, I seem to have developed this pattern in Second Life: get sick, moan about it, then make something to share the feeling of sickliness with everyone else. I’ve done two sick day skins so far (the first two were given as group gifts, and one was subsequently put up for general sale), and the one in this picture is now officially the third. I call it, ‘Sick Again’.

In keeping with the sick-day skin tradition, this skin has been sent out to the Sanu groups and will be available there for free for the two weeks that it will remain in the notice archives and redelivery terminal.

Teleport to Sanu and click a group sign (there’s one for the subscription group and one for the system group) to join, and go through the archives to receive your gift.

  • Sanu in SL: Cutie Peas and Acorn Monocles.

Sanu in Second Life: Give peas a chance, will you?

So the Magic of Oz sim is celebrating its second anniversary, and I’ve made a gift for you to celebrate too! It includes a huggable ‘Give Peas a Chance’ peapod and a cutie-peas peapod for your mouth. What can I say… I love peas.

You can find full details about the Over the Rainbow hunt, along with several other events being presented for the celebrations here at Ozimals.

There’s heaps of great vendors participating, so be sure to collect all the prizes!

Sanu in Second Life: Acorns and butterflies - what a cute combination!

Annnnnd this is the second release for today! A super-cute set of gatcha acorn monocles. You can get these at my main-store, but they’re also available at the Albero Gatcha Festival, along with a few of the classics that I think would go well with them.

Sanu in Second Life: Annnnd some interactive Candy-corn. Yummy and funny!

And in case you missed this other release… which I didn’t post about on the website… here’s the interactive candy-corn, now available at my main-store location. Each piece of candy-corn comes with an awesome set of twelve emotes which can be activated with a click. Here’s a little warning first though: the jokes are a little corny!

  • Sanu in SL: It’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack!

The Sanu prize for the Needle in a Haystack Hunt: needles (of course! No harm in being literal) and a couple of cute, fresh skins.

You know, I think a hunt is a great way to kick off the new month. During August I will be participating in the Needle in a Haystack Hunt, hosted by the Happy Hunters group. This will be their first hunt, so hopefully everything will go nice and smoothly for them!

You can find a full list of participating stores on the Happy Hunters website, which will no doubt also have hints and teasers of some of the prizes added soon as well.

The prize at my store is now up and ready to go. It contains two cute skins, in addition to some needles for nomming. (Please don’t try this at home. Like running with scissors, nomming with needles is hardly a great idea.)

You can find these prizes at the Sanu mainstore inside a little haystack, and I haven’t hidden it all that hard. In a big hunt such as this, I just think it is much easier on everyone to have a prize that is easier to find!

In case you do get stuck though, here is a little hint: I’m feeling hungry… do you like cupcakes as much as I do?
